KISU 2026 Jamboree Recap

What an incredible day at the Jamboree this past Sunday!

We had record-breaking attendance with 25 swimmers showing up excited, prepared, and ready to race. For many, this was their very first jamboree experience, and what a fantastic introduction it was! We couldn’t be prouder of every swimmer who stepped onto the deck and into the pool. Putting yourself out there to race takes courage, focus, and heart, and that effort does not go unnoticed.

A huge congratulations to our Development 4 swimmers, Peyton and Helen, who both crushed the 200 IM under the 4:00 mark, an awesome milestone. Welcome to Regional Group! We’re so excited to see what’s ahead for you both.

Honourable mentions go out to our brave and blazing-fast Development 1 swimmers: Evelynn, Isla, Brody, Madelyn, and Mitchell, who stepped up and raced with confidence and determination.

And let’s talk relays—WOW! All five relay teams absolutely tore up the water, each earning best times in their 50 freestyle legs. There’s nothing quite like seeing those huge smiles as swimmers climb out of the pool, it’s proof of what can happen when adrenaline kicks in and that competitive spark ignites. Moments like these remind us just how special this sport is and how much our swimmers are capable of when they believe in themselves.
